Operation
The "aussie grippers™"are designed to elevate food just off the heat source
which eliminates sticking and reduces burning the food contents. The fitting is
fully adjustable along the skewer using the thumb screw to tighten the fittings
at the desired position along the skewer.
Care
The fittings and skewers are easily cared for. Wash with soapy warm water and store
in a dry place. We recommend that a drop of cooking oil is placed on the thumb screw
for storage.
Assembly Instructions
Use one fitting and slide it down the skewer, tube side first and tighten thumb screw
at your desired length. Then place all the food contents onto the skewer by threading
the skewer through the centre of each portion of food keeping all food content slightly
compressed. Once all the food content is on the skewer at the required length, place
the second fitting on the end of the skewer, plate side first. Push the second fitting
to the food content ensuring that the fitting compresses the food, Then tighten
the thumbscrew making sure that both of the fittings are sitting both on a flat
surface before tightening - this will allow the total device to sit evenly on the
grilling surface.
